Behind closed doors
„Your dad is here to get you. I was just carrying you here cuz the nurse forced me to.” Simon stated right away, just to make sure his classmate didn’t get any weird ideas.
But somehow no witty remark came.
Simon sure had expected one.
Instead Jamey seemed to tense on his back.
“No…” he whispered. “…don’t-“
Jamey’s father was still standing in front of them, holding open the black car’s door, waiting for Simon to let his sick son down.
But hands dug into Simon’s shoulders.
“…don’t let him take me…”
Jamey whispered, definitely too quiet for his father to hear, but loud enough for Simon to understand.

Sinful Desire
Incubi-those lusting creatures lived in the city-as well as their children.
It was something that Jake knew and yet-
Confused he was left to stare at his boss, failing to grasp the situation.
“Ahaha...." Slowly but surely, Ryan started to laugh as he let his back thud against the door-
"I'm done for. Well done Jake- You will never see me again in your fucking precious boring life.”
Ryan´s skin grew more and more transparent by the second. “I´m a fucking half and you just had to interrupt when I was about to ensure my survival!” A bitter smile settled on his face, “Not that you would even understand what I said, but hey, I´m going to disappear just as you always wanted to.
Really, thank you a lot you fucking stupid-" but he didn´t get to say any more as Jake moved closer-
Suddenly there were lips on his own. Before he could even start to complain there was a tongue-
A fucking tongue slipping inside his mouth-
Instantly regaining his posture Ryan bit down hard on it, causing Jake to hiss and withdraw.
“What the fuck are y-“ but then his eyes widened and a soft dash of a dark pink lit his iris up.
For a second he could do nothing but stare in disbelief.
Jake wiped his mouth, softly poking the spot on his tongue that was bleeding.
"Fucking hell-"
Jake…
“Shut up when I'm trying to save your sorry ass.”
...was a half?!

The wish to disappear
Why…?
Heh. What a stupid question. Had someone asked he would have laughed.
The examples were endless, the pros outweighing the cons.
He had been pondering on it far too long already.
Despicable.
He should be able to laugh about this paradox that presented itself in front of him.
When did it start?
… did he even know when exactly that was?
No. Maybe he did, but right now his brain was too fuzzy to think straight.
Nervosity was choking his false laughter and it wasn't anything but the shock of realization that caused this terrifying feeling of suffocation.
No matter what- now his lips just didn't curl into that familiar grin anymore.
They couldn't-
The question had taken over his mind before he knew it.
However, the question was not why he wanted to die.
The questions was-
Why should he live?

Survival of the doomed
"What's your plan?" Something akin to a sour smile spread
over Robin´s lips.
He tilted his head. Left and right.
A plan, huh?
One of the gnawing creatures tried to bite his arm. Just in time
he dodged and stabbed its left eye, leaving it to slump on the floor.
And that's when he realized that they were going to die.
This was it, right?
The end. Finito. конец. Ende.
At first it was silent.
A quiet chuckle in this air that was only filled with groaning noises.
But soon it transformed more and more into straight out laughter.
"God damnit, Robin, now is not the time to go insane."
Ah... Eric, so naive.
"You really think I have a plan for everything don't you?"

A single touch
"Oh god-" His eyes widened and he adjusted his glasses while
rushing over to the already unconscious Rayleigh, his expression
paled to a degree that would make a sheet of paper hide in shame.
"What happened?!" the words were yelled, frantically, the blood
he had seen...
Ethan was about to say something, say what he thought happened
but... no he was wrong-
And then Timothy pulled the coat off.
More blood, bruises and cuts. It was one at Rayleigh's side that was
losing the most, that was obvious by now- and also something else.
Ethan’s words got caught in his throat- he felt like choking on the sight.
He saw them. More of them.
Everywhere.
Bruises.
Five in a row.

Voluntold
All of a sudden it was there, the unmistakable sound of a bomb going off.
Sudden screams and a swamp of yelled words made Victor halt instantly-
His hands shot for the gun on his body.
His ears rang. The royal army-
It was the first thought that struck Victor´s mind like lightning as he
dashed to the source of destruction. A cloud of steam had risen on the
training grounds and he could hear people shout.
All his senses sharpened as he tried to make out where the enemy was-
Except-
The dust lifted and-
There was...
None?
Gun tight and ready to shoot he scanned the area. Only to be left to blink.
Blink, in surprise but also amazement.
And maybe a bit of- disbelief.
In the middle of the training ground, there was just one ginger guy.

Forced Contract
"I want you to observe Shane Curley." Confused Jason stared at the man he
had met at the bar. “What would you gain from that? The boss is dead.”
Weird. The words felt bitter to his lips.
“Indeed. But you see, while Mr. Curley held a lot of prestige, his son doesn't.
No one would benefit from a war between the fractions, right?”
Certainly.
Jason doubted anyone could keep the group together as it was at the moment.
And yet-
“Why me? Hire someone else.” He had already worked far too long in this line of business.
“I will pay you 1.000.000 per day, how does that sound?"
Jason nearly choked on his cigarette as he heard the sum. "…the fuck?"
Nothing but a sleek winning smile spread across the guy’s face.
“Do we have a deal?"
Jason hated the idea of getting involved with the family yet again-
but he would be lying if he said he didn’t need the money.
"Fine..." he mumbled reluctantly. “I will do the job."

Impostor
It took a few minutes in which the father called one of his maids and told herto fetch the messenger until Isaac was released from his stupor.
“I am a man." It was a statement. Obvious as daylight. The maid being gone and the duke obviously pleased with his solution merely laughed.
“You are a lot but definitely not a man.”
"But-"
The force that met his neck was as unexpected as it hurt. His son's struggles only seemed to cause the detest the duke felt for Isaac to triple.
Leaning in, there were only a couple words he was willing to share.
It wasn't a request. Neither did the way the command sounded leave any room for defiance.
“Isaac, you are to make this work. You will marry the king, disguised as a woman, drink the poison handed to you the wedding night and die.”
